Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all paid subscriptions purchased on FounderPilot ("Service"), operated from India. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the terms below.

1. Pricing & Plans

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). International users are responsible for any currency conversion fees or bank charges applied by their financial institution.

2. Free Trial

• All paid plans include a 7-day free trial.
• You will not be charged during the trial period.
• You may cancel at any time during the trial without incurring any charge.
• If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid monthly subscription and your payment method will be charged.

3. Subscription & Auto-Renewal

• After the free trial, your subscription auto-renews monthly on the same date each month.
• By subscribing, you authorise FounderPilot (via Razorpay) to charge your payment method on each renewal date until you cancel.
• Razorpay handles all payment processing. FounderPilot does not store your card or bank details directly.

4. Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that date.
• No partial refunds are issued for unused days remaining in a billing cycle.
• After cancellation takes effect, your account will revert to the Free tier.

5. Plan Downgrades

• You may downgrade to a lower-priced plan at any time.
• Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
• You will continue to have access to your current plan's features until the end of the current billing period.
• No refund or credit is issued for the price difference in the current cycle.

6. Refund Eligibility

You are NOT eligible for a refund if:

• You used the service for part of the billing period and then cancelled.
• Your account was terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service.
• Third-party API keys you provided (Gemini, Reddit, Brevo, Twitter, HikerAPI, DataForSEO) were invalid, expired, or rate-limited.
• Issues were caused by third-party platform outages beyond our control.
• You simply changed your mind or no longer need the service.

7. Refund Process

• To request a refund, email founder@founderpilot.co within 15 days of the charge date.
• Include your registered email address, the date of charge, and a description of the issue.
• We will review your request and respond within 5–7 business days.
• Approved refunds are processed via Razorpay to your original payment method. Processing time depends on your bank (typically 5–10 business days).

8. Chargebacks & Disputes

• If you have a billing concern, email founder@founderpilot.co — we will work with you to resolve it.
• Filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank without first contacting us will result in immediate termination of your FounderPilot account and all associated data.
• Fraudulent chargebacks may be reported to relevant authorities and collections agencies.

9. Free Tier

The Free tier is provided at no cost. No payment method is required, and no charges will ever be applied to Free tier accounts. This policy does not apply to the Free tier.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification at least 15 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
